Service response times
German OEMs guarantee 48-hour response from bases like Cuxhaven and Aurich; Vestas from Esbjerg. For UAE or USA projects, confirm a regional service hub exists before signing - response time, not list price, drives downtime cost.
20-year O&M impact
At 5 MW over 20 years, a EUR 5,000/MW/yr O&M saving equals EUR 500,000, but a 1% availability gain is worth more in most markets. Buyers in high-revenue grids (offshore, UAE) should weight availability above sticker O&M price.
